Here are some questions we are commonly asked, if you have a query that is not on the list do not hesitate to get in contact with us.

Yes, all areas of the pub and campsite are dog friendly

Yes - all items that are or can be gluten free, celiac, vegetarian or vegan are marked on the menu.

You are not required to book a table however we do get extremely busy so would highly advise booking as in busier times we cannot guarantee service to those who have not pre-reserved a table.

We reserve all tables inside and allow guests to sit outside upon arrival as sitting outside is usually weather dependent. As for people who have not booked tables, we will try to accommodate you outside, but it is not always guaranteed.

We serve food from 12pm till 9pm every day off our main menu.

On Sundays we serve from our Sunday menu which has Sunday Roasts and a select few dishes from our main menu. Please note that all roasts are subject to availability so during the evenings we cannot guarantee that all roast meats will be available.


Wi-fi is available throughout the pub and some sections of our outside areas. Please note that due to our lovely rural location our wi-fi can be intermittent and streaming/downloading speeds can be slow.

You can book a table online or over the phone by contacting the pub on 01298 83288 however please note that in busier times we cannot always answer the phone during service. You can also email us at hello@peakpub.co.uk and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

We take large group bookings for up to 25 people dining however groups of more than 10 adults will need to pre-order off our main menu in advance (excluding Sundays). 

We have an outdoor bike rack which guests can lock there bikes to but we do not have any indoor bike storage facilities.

You do not have to pre book camping however we cannot guarantee we will have availability on site at peak times.

All pitches are marked, and guests are allocated a pitch on arrival.

Yes, we have a separate field for D of E that can be hired out all year round, however we do avoid taking large D of E bookings in the holidays & at weekends to ensure that the facilities are not overcrowded. 


We do not allow fires unless in a fire pit raised off the ground, our super pitches come with a fire pit, but firewood is not provided, and we ask that you do not use wood from the site.


All camping are non-transferable and non-refundable.

We have a maximum one tent/one campervan per pitch policy no matter how large the pitch booked is. 

All pitches include 1 tent or campervan & 1 car. Additional cars can be parked in our back carpark & there is a charge for any additional cars.

Standard - Max 4 person tent

Large - Max 6 person tent

Super - Max 8 person tent 

We do not take motorhomes or caravans. We have no hard-standing, no electric hook-ups and no chemical waste disposal. There is also an issue due to access to the site for longer vehicles. 

We only accept small campervans.

Our campsite facilities are open all year round, note we do shut the site over the festive period. During the off-season we do limit our pitches due to the weather & only are standard pitches are bookable. 

If the ground on the standard pitches is too wet then we will move your booking to another area of the camp field. For campervans during the winter & wetter months we cannot guarantee that you will be on a grass pitch - we may have to situate you on our camping carpark/gravel area to the rear of the pub.

Yes, people staying on the facilities are more than welcome to have barbeques provided they are raised off the grass.

Yes, included in the camping are showers and toilets and washing up sinks.

Check in is after 2pm and we ask all guests leave by 12pm on the day of departure.

Our noise policy asks for no noise after 10pm as we are a family friendly site.

We take group bookings however allow you to only reserve a maximum of 4 pitches, per group.

Yes, our vouchers are available to buy online.

Yes, some areas of the pub are accessible by wheelchair, please mention any mobility issues when booking your table so we can give you the most appropriate table.

We do not have disabled toilets.

You can get taxis to pick you up from the pub however they may be expensive as they come from either Buxton or Bakewell (both about a ten minute drive away)
